Normal and Not Normal Aging Workshop

This workshop helps learners understand and recognize the differences in “normal” and “not normal” aging. The workshop emphasizes the value of matching helping behaviors to the person’s needs and retained abilities to promote a sense of control and self-direction, and addresses typical issues that occur throughout the progression of dementia.

(October 29, 2015) -The Park Ridge Health Foundation hosted the 16th annual Partners in Health Golf Classic on Oct. 13 at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove with 112 golfers.

The tournament raised $63,685. The proceeds of this year’s Golf Classic will help fund a transformation to the hospital’s second floor behavioral health services.  Behavioral health services include a full range of women’s programs for inpatient psychiatric treatment.
